JUPITER HISUN® High
Power Channel Letter Module Series
Preparation before installation:
* The inside surface of the letter housing should be flat, clean and painted with white gloss paint or filmed over with gloss reflecting film to make sure that the inside surface of the letter housing is bright, highly reflective and not color polluted.
IMPORTANT:
THE ABOVE JOBS WILL INCREASE (10-30)%
OF THE BRIGHTNESS TO THE COVERING SURFACE OF CHANNEL LETTERS.
* The inside height of the letter housing (or the display sign housing) should be between 4-1/2" (11.5cm)
and
to 6" (15cm).
Installation: Step 1: Remove the paper from 3M VHB Double-Sided Tape on the back of modules , then bond modules to the inside bottom of the letter housing. Handle the products with care. Never pull the module lines wildly, it may cause damage. The recommended spacing between each module is 4"-7" (10cm-18cm).

Step 2: Secure modules on the inside bottom of the letter housing with self-tap screws. A void pressing the screw too hard, it may damage the modules.
Step 3: Cut off the excess modules at the other end of the letter, and connect the positive end of wire to the negative end of wire. Wrap the junctions with thermoplastic tubes.
Step 4 : Secure Power Supply at an appropriate location, connect the output wire of the Power Supply to the input wire of modules according the same color of wire. Wrap the junctions with thermoplastic tubes.

Step 5: Connect all used Power Supply with the main power wire, and connect to fuse block (using a break), then connect to a power source through a switch.

Step 6 : Clean the LEDs and module surface after installation. Light up the modules.
Caution:
In each individual HCHP-36 Power Supply circuit in series connection:
No more than 30 pieces of cold color modules (such as Blue, Green, Warm, White and White) should be connected in one circuit.
No more than 45 pieces of warm color modules (such as Red and Amber) should be connected in one circuit.
No fewer than 10 pieces of cold color modules (such as Blue, Green, WarmWhite and White) should be connected in one circuit.
No fewer than 15 pieces of warm color modules (such as Red and Amber) should be connected in one circuit. |
